Why the Chidewu family started to sew 3-layer quality face masks
Chipo is a very ambitious and talented young student who finished school with distinction and is dreaming of becoming a chartered financial analyst. She is currently studying accounting and finance at University of Johannesburg and would like to start working in banking, finance or investment. Her dreams are big. Due to the Corona lockdown her Dad could not sell his artwork anymore at the Watershed and suddenly lost his entire income.
Chipos mother is working as a nanny but her income is not sufficient to pay the University fees beside the cost of living for her family. Both parents started to look into something new and decided to start sewing quality 3-layer curved face masks, produced under strict hygiene protocol. In the beginning they just wanted to help their own community to protect themselves and be busy under the strict lockdown conditions at home but soon they realized their quality masks with triple protection sell like hot cakes and the quality and comfort of the masks impressed many outside her hood. Many people encouraged them to produce and sell more and so they decided to sell in a more professional way. The goal is simply to enable their daughter to finish her last year of University and to be able to pay her fees. Please support the Chidewu family for the good cause and spread the word about the masks. They are able to produce in high numbers in a short period of time
